17 Place de la Liberté

The house

The front of the house has a first floor balcony off the parlour, overlooking the square with its 9th century abbey and the largest plane tree in France. The house sleeps 6 with 3 double bedrooms (two huge), one bathroom and an additional WC.

At the rear of the house the kitchen/dining room leads onto a pretty south-facing terrace on the first floor, overlooking the garden below, the small stream which runs through the village and the forested hills beyond.

The house is ideal for relaxation with a sheltered terrace, a hammock in the garden or you can sit on the balcony overlooking the square and watch the world go by. The river Hérault at the end of the village has numerous secluded swimming and sunbathing spots along the valley.

A recent renovation and conversion has respected the character of this traditional old house and created a home furnished and decorated with style and imagination.
(See bottom of page for a walk through of the house to give you a clearer idea of the layout.)
